Primary Host Organization:

College of Agricultural and Life Sciences

Description:

More and more, those who choose careers in agriculture will require education beyond high school. Yet many people, especially those interested in operating their own farm, may not want to commit themselves to a four-year college degree program. A wise alternative is the Farm and Industry Short Course offered by the University of Wisconsin–Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. CALS offers the Farm and Industry Short Course every winter for 17 weeks. This program is designed for farmers and persons in the green industry who need to attend school in the off season. Select CALS courses are available for this path, as can be seen on the website below.
