Description:

The goal of the National Organization for Business and Engineering (NOBE) is to bring together students with interests in both business and engineering to corporate and academic institutions that promote the integration of these fields into one practice. NOBE, formerly known as Students Uniting Business & Engineering (SUBE), is a student organization at UW-Madison that hopes to broaden the visions of students in technology and business fields by facilitating relationships, providing cross-functional knowledge, and developing professional skills. NOBE organizes social and educational events such as informal meetings with industry professionals on topics such as project management, entrepreneurship, e-Manufacturing, e-Commerce and Six Sigma are arranged. In addition, NOBE sponsors a bi-annual event titled Meet Your Future, holds an annual Consulting Seminar with top consulting firms, and organizes Brewer game trips and plant tours. Finally, NOBE provides networking opportunities and assists members in obtaining internships/ permanent positions through a resume book and contacts with NOBE alumni.
